La Badia is an ex-convent, it dates back to the year one thousand. It is situated among the hills in a beautiful position near Certaldo. Three apartments, furnished in rustic style, have been created from part of the premises which has been restored. The garden with century old trees and a small swimming-pool in a panoramic position are shared with the owner.

There is a typical restaurant next door, managed by the owner, which holds about 50 people, where the guests can taste the best traditional Tuscan recipes. La Badia is 45 km from Siena and Florence.
